What we do

Since 2018, the Children’s Business Fair UK (CBFUK) has promoted the critical importance of the entrepreneurial mindset in the next generation.

We host one-day marketplaces where young entrepreneurs (aged 7-17) launch their own business, sell in an authentic, real-world environment and make their own money.

We also deliver fully-developed entrepreneurial programs in primary and secondary schools that run over single lessons, full day workshops, full term and across an academic year.

We believe that…

The entrepreneurial mindset and associated skills are fundamental to preparing the next generation for future success.

Effective learning occurs best in authentic, real-world settings. This means real money, real customers, real pressures, real failures and real triumphs.

Kickstarting the entrepreneurial journey as early as possible embeds good habits, great confidence and positive attitudes from the start.

Adults need to step back. Learning happens 10x quicker when children are allowed to make mistakes and truly own the process.

Team

We’re a small team of entrepreneurs and parents on a mission to help prepare the next generation for next-generation challenges.

We’ve seen how authentic, hands-on learning and real-world experiences allow young people to acquire key skills vital for life in both school and beyond.

This is why we founded the Children’s Business Fair UK. We truly believe that young people are far more capable than any of us think. When they lead themselves, it’s astonishing to see how much they can achieve.
