Established in November 2018, The Flame Fox is the brainchild of twins Daniela and Sofia and business partner/best friend Josephine. Originally selling slime and traditional Czech gingerbread cookies, the team quickly pivoted, focussing all their efforts on their better-selling cookies.
Based on a top-secret recipe handed down by the twins’ Czech Grandmother, huge amounts of TLC goes into the manufacturing process. The cookies take three days to make (enough time for the spices to work their magic, apparently) with each beautifully hand-decorated with intricate icing.
Having perfected their recipe over the past year, the trio practically sold out at November 2019’s event, netting a very healthy 83% profit margin.
Consummate salespeople (see them in action here) this team thinks nothing of taking to the streets of Guildford to hawk their products. Visit their stall and you’ll be impressed by their story and pitch – but most of all, by their delicious cookies. It’s no wonder that they’ve gained themselves quite the local following in the process.
